Virginia High School Football - Meadow Bridge fells Bland County
October 10, 2025: Rocky Gap, VA 24366 The Meadow Bridge Wildcats felled the host Bland County Bears football team by a score of 38-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV) in a Coalfield A challenge, on Friday, October 17. Meadow Bridge will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 47-6 non-league loss to Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV).
The Bears (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against J.I. Burton (Norton, VA). The Black Raiders go into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, J.I. Burton was dropped by Hurley (Hurley, VA), 14-8, in a non-league challenge.
