Texas High School Football - Sabinal can't hold off Brackett

Brackett Tigers (Brackettville, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Sabinal Yellowjackets (Sabinal, TX), 42-35 in a league battle.

With the win, Brackett improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Tigers host Junction (Junction, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 2A-2 Region IV District 14 test on Friday, October 17. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 5-0. Junction won 48-0 in their recent non-league test against Falls City (Falls City, TX)

With the defeat, Sabinal drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX) to meet the Cowboys in a 2A-2 Region IV District 14 test on Saturday, October 18. The Cowboys come into the test with a record of 3-3. D'Hanis won 27-26 in their recent league test against La Pryor (La Pryor, TX)
