Florence Christian Eagles (Florence, SC) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Camden Military Spartans (Camden, SC), 36-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Florence Christian improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wilson Hall (Sumter, SC) to meet the Barons in a SCISA 3A Region II test on Friday, October 17. The Barons come into the test with a record of 6-1. Wilson Hall won 35-18 in their recent league test against Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC)

With the defeat, Camden Military drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC) to play the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 24. The Highlanders go into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Heathwood Hall Episcopal won 28-6 in their recent league challenge against Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC)
