In Friday's non-league match, the host Valley Vikings football squad scored a decisive 52-12 triumph over the Castleford Wolves.

The Vikings (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Raft River (Malta, ID). The Trojans go into the 2A Snake River (8 Man) challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Raft River bounced Butte County (Arco, ID), 36-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Richfield (Richfield, ID). The Tigers go into the 1A Sawtooth (8 Man) challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Richfield triumphed over Camas County (Fairfield, ID), 21-0, in a league test.
