The Central Valley Cougars walloped the host Palmer Tigers football team by a score of 52-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades (Chambers, NE) in a D2 District 6 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 17. Central Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Renegades come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 50-6 league loss to Burwell (Burwell, NE).

With the defeat, Palmer drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE) to meet the Coyotes in a D2 District 6 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 17. The Coyotes come into the test with a record of 6-1. Anselmo-Merna won 46-27 in their recent league test against Twin Loup (Sargent, NE)
