In Friday's league match, the host Central Panthers football squad scored a good 42-13 victory over the Corvallis Spartans.

The Panthers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against South Albany (Albany, OR). The Redhawks go into the 5A Special District 3 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, South Albany was topped by Lebanon (Lebanon, OR), 49-3, in a league battle.

The Spartans now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host West Albany for a 5A Special District 3 battle on Friday, October 17. Corvallis will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 25-14 league loss to Dallas (Dallas, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
