The Central Tigers football team (Sallisaw, OK), dropped 37-12 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Talihina Golden Tigers (Talihina, OK)

The Golden Tigers (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Mounds, OK). The Tigers enter the A-II District 3 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Liberty gained a win over Mounds (Mounds, OK), 67-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Tigers encounter the Mounds Golden Eagles (Mounds, OK) in a A-II District 3 bout, on Thursday, October 16. Central will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 67-0 league loss to Liberty (Mounds, OK).
