October 10, 2025: Chamberlain, SD 57325 Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central Blackhawks (Woonsocket, SD) boosters left the game content Friday as they observed their football squad top the host Chamberlain Cubs (Chamberlain, SD), 20-8 in a league test.
The Blackhawks now have a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Mt. Vernon/Plankinton for a Southeastern South Dakota challenge on Friday, October 17. Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central will face a Titans team coming off a 24-0 league win over Miller/Highmore/Harrold (Miller, SD). The Titans record now stands at 3-4.
The Cubs (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Winner (Winner, SD). The Warriors come into the Southeastern South Dakota test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Winner knocked off Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD), 64-0, in a non-league test.
