Massachusetts High School Football - Chelmsford can't hold off Lowell
October 10, 2025: North Chelmsford, MA 01863 Lowell Red Raiders (Lowell, MA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Chelmsford Lions (North Chelmsford, MA), 42-37 in a league battle.
With the win, Lowell improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Red Raiders host Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA) to meet the Indians in a Merrimack Valley - Medium test on Friday, October 17. The Indians come into the test with a record of 3-2. Billerica Memorial lost 35-0 in their recent league test against Tewksbury Memorial (Tewksbury, MA)
With the defeat, Chelmsford drops to 1-4 on the season. The Lions travel to North Andover (North Andover, MA) to face the Scarlet Knights in a Merrimack Valley - Medium challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Scarlet Knights go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. North Andover won 33-6 in their recent non-league test against Dracut (Dracut, MA)
