New York High School Football - Christian Brothers Academy trounces Rome Free Academy
October 10, 2025: Rome, NY 13441 In Friday's league match, the visiting Christian Brothers Academy Brothers football squad scored a decisive 66-6 victory over the Rome Free Academy Black Knights.
The Brothers (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Liverpool (Liverpool, NY). The Warriors enter the Section 3 AA 1 match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Liverpool routed Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY), 45-8, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Black Knights confront the West Genesee Wildcats (Camillus, NY) in a Section 3 AA 1 battle, on Friday, October 17. Rome Free Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 48-12 league loss to Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY).
