Kansas High School Football - Sylvan-Lucas smashes Clifton-Clyde
October 10, 2025: Clyde, KS 66938 The Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs (Sylvan Grove, KS) football trounced the host Clifton-Clyde Eagles (Clyde, KS), 44-8 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a Northern Plains (8 Man) game on Friday, October 17. Sylvan-Lucas will face a Leopards team coming off a 64-6 league win over Lakeside (Downs, KS). The Leopards record now stands at 6-0.
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Rock Hills (Mankato, KS). The Grizzlies enter the non-league game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Rock Hills was trounced by Washington County (Washington, KS), 68-16, in a league game.
