The Collins Tigers were victorious over the host Perry Central Bulldogs football team by a score of 42-34 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sacred Heart for a 2A Region 8 test on Friday, October 24.

With the defeat, Perry Central drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to East Marion (Columbia, MS) to clash with the Eagles in a 2A Region 8 game on Friday, October 17. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 4-3. East Marion won 38-6 in their recent league game against North Forrest (Hattiesburg, MS)
