Washington High School Football - Columbia falls to Curlew
October 10, 2025: Curlew, WA 99118 The Curlew Cougars ran past the visiting Columbia Lions football squad by a margin of 32-12 in Friday's league test.
The Cougars now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Republic for a 1B Northeast (8 Man) test on Friday, October 17. Curlew will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 58-14 non-league loss to Wilbur-Creston-Keller (Creston, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
The Lions (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Davenport (Davenport, WA). The Gorillas enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Davenport lost by Pomeroy (Pomeroy, WA), 74-0, in a non-league challenge.
