The Weaver Beavers football team (Hartford, CT), dropped 49-26 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Cromwell/Portland Panthers (Cromwell, CT)

With the win, Cromwell/Portland advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Panthers host Valley Regional/Old Lyme (Deep River, CT) to battle the Warriors in a non-league contest on Friday, October 24. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 3-1.
