The Mulberry Panthers walloped the host DeSoto County Bulldogs football team by a score of 36-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Frostproof Bulldogs (Frostproof, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 17. Mulberry will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 49-18 non-league win over Wildwood (Wildwood, FL).

With the defeat, DeSoto County drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league test on Friday, October 17. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 2-4. Lake Placid lost 42-13 in their recent non-league test against Gateway (Kissimmee, FL)
