Northwest Knights (Cincinnati, OH) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Dunbar Wolverines (Dayton, OH), 48-35 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Northwest advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Knights host Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, October 17. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 7-0. Bishop Watterson won 57-7 in their recent league match against Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH)

Coming up next, the Wolverines confront the Thurgood Marshall Cougars (Dayton, OH) in a South West Ohio match, on Friday, October 17. Dunbar will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 1-7 record after their 44-0 league loss to Belmont (Dayton, OH).
