The Espanola Valley Sundevils football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Kirtland Central Broncos to 28 in the Sundevils league triumph on Friday.

The Sundevils now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bloomfield for a 4A District 1 test on Saturday, October 25.

With the defeat, Kirtland Central moves to 1-6 on the season. The Broncos host Taos (Taos, NM) to face the Tigers in a 4A District 1 challenge on Friday, October 17. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Taos won 30-28 in their recent league challenge against Grants (Grants, NM)
