The Washington Union Panthers football team scored 31 points and held the visiting Exeter Monarchs to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA) in a Tri-County - Kings Canyon challenge, on Friday, October 17. Washington Union will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 49-14 league loss to Kerman (Kerman, CA).

The Monarchs (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hanford West (Hanford, CA). The Huskies enter the Tri-County - Sequoia challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Hanford West fell by Selma (Selma, CA), 53-0, in a league challenge.
