In Friday's league game, the Mangham Dragons (Mangham, LA) football team were victorious over the host Ferriday Trojans (Ferriday, LA), by a tally of 56-48.

Next, the Dragons clash with the Oak Grove Tigers (Oak Grove, LA) in a 2A District 2 outing, on Friday, October 17. Mangham will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Tigers come into the outing with a 6-1 record after their 47-7 league win over Beekman Charter (Bastrop, LA).

With the defeat, Ferriday drops to 5-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Madison (Tallulah, LA) to clash with the Jaguars in a 2A District 2 outing on Thursday, October 16.
