In Friday's league match, the host Flushing Raiders football squad scored a good 40-28 triumph over the Swartz Creek Dragons.

The Raiders (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Brandon (Ortonville, MI). The Blackhawks come into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Brandon went down by Owosso (Owosso, MI), 34-22, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Dragons meet the Clio Mustangs (Clio, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 17. Swartz Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 43-35 league loss to Lake Fenton (Linden, MI).
