Fort Bend Bush Broncos (Richmond, TX) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the host Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX), 28-24 in a league match.

The Broncos (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region III District 21 match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Fort Bend Travis tipped Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX), 44-24, in a league battle.

The Knights now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Bend Dulles for a 6A Region III District 21 test on Thursday, October 23. Fort Bend Elkins will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 77-0 league loss to Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 0-7.
