The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Franklin County Seahawks (Eastpoint, FL) and the visiting Wewahitchka Gators (Wewahitchka, FL), saw Franklin County's football team gain a win over Wewahitchka by a final score of 51-21.

With the win, Franklin County advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Seahawks travel to Aucilla Christian (Monticello, FL) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, October 17. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Aucilla Christian won 49-0 in their recent non-league contest against Graceville (Graceville, FL)

Coming up next, the Gators confront the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers (Tallahassee, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 17. Wewahitchka will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Baby Rattlers enter the contest with a 0-7 record after their 49-12 league loss to North Florida Christian (Tallahassee, FL).
