The Kentwood Kangaroos (Kentwood, LA) football trounced the visiting Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats (New Orleans, LA), 40-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Kangaroos now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Independence for a non-league game on Friday, October 17. Kentwood will battle a Tigers team coming off a 12-7 league loss to St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.

The Bobcats (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA). The Mustangs enter the 4A District 10 game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Eleanor McMain was trounced by Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA), 44-0, in a league game.
