Texas High School Football - Gladewater prevails Liberty-Eylau

In Friday's league match, the visiting Gladewater Bears football squad scored a good 46-20 triumph over the Liberty-Eylau Leopards.

The Bears (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Tatum (Tatum, TX). The Eagles go into the 3A-1 Region II District 8 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Tatum was dropped by Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX), 28-13, in a league battle.

The Leopards now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Atlanta for a 3A-1 Region II District 8 battle on Friday, October 17. Liberty-Eylau will play a Rabbits team coming off a 35-0 league win over Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Rabbits record now stands at 6-1.
