The Half Hollow Hills West Colts football team (Dix Hills, NY), was topped 49-38 in Friday's league match with the host Hauppauge Eagles (Hauppauge, NY)

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Harborfields (Greenlawn, NY). The Tornadoes come into the Section 11 Division III battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Harborfields prevailed over Amityville Memorial (Amityville, NY), 20-18, in a league battle.

The Colts now have a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Islip for a Section 11 Division III battle on Saturday, October 18. Half Hollow Hills West will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 42-23 league win over Comsewogue (Port Jefferson Station, NY). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-1.
