In Friday's non-league game, the Hobart Brickies (Hobart, IN) football team overcame the visiting Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN), by a tally of 29-18.

In their next game, the Brickies battle the Highland Trojans (Highland, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads game, on Friday, October 17. Hobart will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Trojans come into the outing with a 2-6 record after their 27-10 league loss to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN).
