The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Jefferson Cavaliers (Sioux Falls, SD) and the visiting Harrisburg Tigers (Harrisburg, SD), witnessed Jefferson's football squad nip Harrisburg by a final score of 31-28.

With the win, Jefferson advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Cavaliers host Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD) to encounter the Cobblers in a Metro bout on Friday, October 17. The Cobblers go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Rapid City Central lost 55-28 in their recent league bout against Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD)

The Tigers now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Brandon Valley for a Metro bout on Friday, October 17. Harrisburg will encounter a Lynx team coming off a 49-7 non-league win over Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Lynx record now stands at 7-0.
