The Macon Tigers football squad scored 62 points and limited the visiting Highland Cougars to 6 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Shelby for a Clarence Cannon test on Friday, October 17. Macon will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 42-0 league loss to Centralia (Centralia, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Highland moves to 0-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to Monroe City (Monroe City, MO) to face the Panthers in a Clarence Cannon challenge on Friday, October 17. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Monroe City won 44-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Benton (St. Joseph, MO)
