Utah High School Football - Hillcrest can't hold off Taylorsville

October 10, 2025: Taylorsville, UT 84123

Taylorsville Warriors (Taylorsville, UT) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Hillcrest Huskies (Midvale, UT), 35-28 in a league battle.

With the win, Taylorsville advances its record to 2-7 on the season. The Warriors travel to Hunter (West Valley City, UT) to play the Wolverines in a 5A Region 4 battle on Wednesday, October 15. The Wolverines go into the battle with a record of 4-5. Hunter won 18-14 in their recent league battle against Cyprus (Magna, UT)

The Huskies now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Kearns for a 5A Region 4 match on Thursday, October 16. Hillcrest will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 77-0 league loss to West Jordan (West Jordan, UT). The Cougars record now stands at 1-8.
