In Friday's league match, the visiting Holy Cross Knights football squad scored a decisive 51-2 triumph over the John Paul II Centurions.

With the win, Holy Cross improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Knights travel to First Baptist (Dallas, TX) to play the Saints in a non-league battle on Friday, October 17. The Saints go into the battle with a record of 5-2. First Baptist won 45-0 in their recent league match against Live Oak Classical (Waco, TX)

Coming up next, the Centurions meet the John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX) in a TAPPS Division III District 3 match, on Friday, October 17.
