The Montgomery Red Raiders football squad scored 57 points and limited the visiting Holy Redeemer Royals to 6 in the Red Raiders non-league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Red Raiders face the South Williamsport Mountaineers (South Williamsport, PA) in a PIAA District IV challenge, on Friday, October 17. Montgomery will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 28-20 league win over Muncy (Muncy, PA).

The Royals (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbia Montour Vo-Tech (Bloomsburg, PA). The Rams come into the non-league outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Columbia Montour Vo-Tech was overwhelmed by Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA), 63-0, in a non-league outing.
