The Leo Lions football team (Chicago, IL), was crushed 52-7 in Friday's non-league bout with the host St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL)

With the win, St. Rita upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to St. Patrick (Chicago, IL) to confront the Shamrocks in a non-league contest on Friday, October 17. The Shamrocks enter the contest with a record of 4-3. St. Patrick lost 35-19 in their recent non-league contest against St. Laurence (Burbank, IL)

Coming up next, the Lions confront the Niles Notre Dame Dons (Niles, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 18. Leo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Dons enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 52-14 non-league loss to Brother Rice (Chicago, IL).
