October 10, 2025: Loranger, LA 70446 Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA), 12-0 in a non-league match.
The Greyhounds (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy (Lafayette, LA). The Tigers come into the 2A District 6 match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy went down by Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA), 48-7, in a league match.
In their next game, the Wolves play the Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA) in a 4A District 7 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Loranger will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Hawks go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 21-6 league loss to Pearl River (Pearl River, LA).
