October 10, 2025: Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA) and the host Lower Moreland Lions (Huntingdon Valley, PA), witnessed Sun Valley's football squad knock off Lower Moreland by a tally of 41-14.
The Vanguards (1-7) will now prepare for their bout against Unionville (Kennett Square, PA). The Longhorns go into the Ches-Mont - American bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Unionville was topped by Kennett (Kennett Square, PA), 24-21, in a league bout.
The Lions now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Bristol for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 18. Lower Moreland will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 34-20 non-league loss to Garden Spot (New Holland, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-2.
