The St. Mary's Saints ran past the visiting Loyola Blakefield Dons football squad by a count of 50-35 in Friday's league test.

The Saints now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvert Hall for a test on Friday, October 17. St. Mary's will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 28-21 league win over McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-2.

The Dons (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD). The Gaels come into the test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Mount St. Joseph knocked off Gilman (Baltimore, MD), 20-9, in a non-league test.
