Virginia High School Football - Madison County can't hold off Luray
October 10, 2025: Luray, VA 22835 The Luray Bulldogs got by the visiting Madison County Mountaineers football team by a score of 52-49 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Strasburg Rams (Strasburg, VA) in a Bull Run challenge, on Friday, October 17. Luray will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 35-0 league win over Page County (Shenandoah, VA).
The Mountaineers (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Falcons come into the Bull Run test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Central Woodstock tipped Clarke County (Berryville, VA), 48-0, in a league test.
