The Lyons Lions felled the host Oak Park-River Forest Huskies football team by a score of 32-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions play the Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL) in a West Suburban - Silver challenge, on Friday, October 17. Lyons will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 41-28 league win over York (Elmhurst, IL).

The Huskies (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Addison Trail (Addison, IL). The Blazers go into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Addison Trail toppled Proviso East (Maywood, IL), 45-16, in a league challenge.
