Newcomerstown Trojans (Newcomerstown, OH) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Malvern Hornets (Malvern, OH), 40-12 in a league battle.

With the win, Newcomerstown improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH) to play the Tigers in a Inter-Valley - North battle on Friday, October 17. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 6-2. Strasburg-Franklin won 36-14 in their recent league battle against Buckeye Trail (Lore City, OH)
