The Menomonie Mustangs football team (Menomonie, WI), dropped 42-14 in Friday's league contest with the host River Falls Wildcats (River Falls, WI)

The Wildcats (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wausau West (Wausau, WI). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Wausau West gained a win over Eau Claire Memorial (Eau Claire, WI), 49-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs battle the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (Chippewa Falls, WI) in a Big Rivers bout, on Friday, October 17. Menomonie will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 28-15 league loss to Hudson (Hudson, WI).
