In Friday's league outing, the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) football squad trounced the visiting Moon Valley Rockets (Phoenix, AZ), by a margin of 40-0.

The Buffaloes now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Independence for a 4A Black Canyon outing on Friday, October 17. Tempe will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 54-7 league loss to Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Moon Valley drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Greenway (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Demons in a 4A Black Canyon game on Friday, October 17.
