October 10, 2025: Cathlamet, WA 98612 The Wahkiakum Mules football squad scored 60 points and limited the visiting North Beach Hyaks to 8 in the Mules league triumph on Friday.
The Mules now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chief Leschi for a 1B Southwest (8 Man) test on Friday, October 17. Wahkiakum will face a Warriors team coming off a 58-8 league loss to Naselle (Naselle, WA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-4.
The Hyaks (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Winlock (Winlock, WA). The Cardinals go into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Winlock bounced Oakville (Oakville, WA), 41-8, in a non-league challenge.
