The White River Tigers football squad scored 6 points and limited the host Omaha Nation Chiefs to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pine Ridge for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 16. White River will face a Thorpes team coming off a 46-0 non-league loss to Todd County (Mission, SD). The Thorpes record now stands at 2-5.

The Chiefs (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Winnebago (Winnebago, NE). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Winnebago held off St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD), 50-0, in a league outing.
