The Piedmont Hills Pirates football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Overfelt Royals to 6 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA) in a Santa Teresa - Foothill challenge, on Friday, October 17. Piedmont Hills will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 21-6 league win over Silver Creek (San Jose, CA).
