Georgia High School Football - Piedmont Academy defeats Riverside Military Academy

In Friday's league match, the visiting Piedmont Academy Cougars football squad scored a good 40-12 victory over the Riverside Military Academy Eagles.

The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA). The Knights go into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 4 battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Bethlehem Christian Academy overcame Lakeview Academy (Gainesville, GA), 29-22, in a league battle.

The Eagles now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to George Walton Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 4 battle on Friday, October 17. Riverside Military Academy will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 27-0 league win over Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-0.
