October 10, 2025: Pierre, SD 57501 The Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors walloped the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers football team by a score of 44-0 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Governors clash with the Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD) in a Eastern South Dakota game, on Friday, October 17. Pierre T.F. Riggs will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 5-2 record after their 56-6 league win over Douglas (Box Elder, SD).
The Scoopers (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Watertown (Watertown, SD). The Arrows enter the Eastern South Dakota game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Watertown overwhelmed Tea (Tea, SD), 15-7, in a league game.
