Plainwell Trojans (Plainwell, MI) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI), 33-7 in a league match.

The Trojans (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Niles (Niles, MI). The Vikings come into the Wolverine B match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, Niles defeated Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MI), 42-7, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Otsego Bulldogs (Otsego, MI) in a Wolverine B match, on Friday, October 17. Sturgis will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 34-20 league loss to Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI).
