The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Rosebud-Lott Cougars (Rosebud, TX) and the host Riesel Indians (Riesel, TX), witnessed Rosebud-Lott's football squad wallop Riesel by a tally of 49-0.

The Cougars (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Moody (Moody, TX). The Bearcats enter the 2A-1 Region IV District 13 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Moody crushed Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX), 34-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Indians confront the Crawford Pirates (Crawford, TX) in a 2A-1 Region IV District 13 contest, on Friday, October 17. Riesel will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 27-21 league win over Marlin (Marlin, TX).
