Louisiana High School Football - Rosepine thwarted by Winnfield
October 10, 2025: Rosepine, LA 70659 Winnfield Tigers (Winnfield, LA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Rosepine Eagles (Rosepine, LA), 49-28 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Winnfield upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Many (Many, LA) to meet the Tigers in a 2A District 3 test on Friday, October 17. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Many won 54-13 in their recent league test against Lakeside (Sibley, LA)
With the defeat, Rosepine drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mansfield (Mansfield, LA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 17. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Mansfield won 38-30 in their recent league challenge against Red River (Coushatta, LA)
