Seaholm Maples (Birmingham, MI) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Troy Colts (Troy, MI), 42-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Seaholm advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Maples host Adams (Rochester, MI) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league match on Friday, October 17. The Highlanders come into the match with a record of 5-2. Adams won 29-27 in their recent league match against Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI)

Coming up next, the Colts confront the Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI) in a Oakland - Blue match, on Friday, October 17. Troy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Red Hawks come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 31-28 non-league loss to Oxford (Oxford, MI).
