Iowa High School Football - Shenandoah thwarted by Underwood
October 10, 2025: Underwood, IA 51576 Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA), 36-7 in a league match.
The Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Red Oak (Red Oak, IA). The Tigers come into the 1A District 8 battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Red Oak was dropped by Treynor (Treynor, IA), 56-0, in a league battle.
The Mustangs now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Tri-Center for a 1A District 8 battle on Friday, October 17. Shenandoah will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 36-7 league win over Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-4.
